ADELAIDE TAMBO SCHOOL formerly known as JC Merkin School was established in 1980. It is situated in White – City, Jabavu, in Soweto. The school provides education to 381 learners with physical disabilities and those with learning disabilities. Learning starts from Grade 1 – 12 for day scholars and boarders.

HISTORY/ TYPE OF PROVISIONING
The school caters for learners with learning barriers on a wide spectrum physically challenged and slow learners but following the normal curriculum. Most of our learners come from disadvantaged families, others are orphans raised by grandparents, and their social grants maintain families.
